Dr Hamid Hosseini
Dr Hamid Hosseini has been a GP (general practitioner) since 1996. He obtained his medical degree (MD) from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After extensive GP experience, he continued his education in the field of immunology, and autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases for which he received the awards of MBMS (Hons) and PhD at Monash University in 2015.
Thereafter, he continued his practice as a GP in Nunawading, Victoria for almost the last 6 years before joining the Waverley Medical Centre in Glen Waverley.
Dr Hamid is an experienced and well-known procedural GP who takes care of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions, including internal medicine, pediatrics, hair regrowth, skin cancer, aesthetic medicine, reproductive medicine, and women's health. He has a personal interest in workover and TAC, mental health, dermatology, and preventive medicine, especially in the fields of heart attack, stroke, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, geriatrics, and obesity. His other areas of interest are management of chronic pain and sports medicine using PRP, travel medicine, general counseling, family therapy, and men’s health.
He has a strong research profile, and his work was mainly based at Monash Medical Centre and Alfred Health, Baker Heart, and Diabetes Institute. He has been an active clinical academic since 2010, doing research as a Postdoctoral researcher in the field of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular diseases at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Alfred Health.
His medical research findings have been published in highly accredited well-known medical journals leading to the development of a potential anticoagulant medication and resulting in the development Australian-made high-quality of hair care and growth products with natural ingredients.

Dr Hamid Hosseini is an experienced clinician with a background in immunology and a post-doctoral researcher in the field of cell biology and hair physiology. Dr Hosseini is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM), Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM), Skin Cancer College Australia (SCCA), RACGP, Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology (ASI), International Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Science (IFAAS), Australian Atherosclerosis Society (AAS), Teoxane Academy and Fotona Laser Society.
