Hilary Edwards 

Diabetes Educator 


Hilary originally qualified as a pharmacist in the UK in 1995 and moved to Australia in 2000 where she lived and worked in Tasmania. Hilary moved to Melbourne in 2013 and completed her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2016. She is now a Credentialled Diabetes Educator so that she can provide ongoing support to people so that they can live well with diabetes. She provides information on what diabetes is, why we need to treat it and explains ways to monitor it, including providing free blood glucose monitors when needed. She particularly enjoys helping people to make the small changes needed to their lifestyle that will reduce the risk of longer term complications that diabetes can cause. 



Hilary is also accredited to perform medication reviews, visiting patients at home and in aged care, to discuss their medicines and make recommendations regarding their treatment to their GP.
